Exhibition at the Sacred Heart University
Global Coexistence Research Institute
Sadako Ogata and the Education of the Sacred Heart
We planned and produced this exhibition, which introduces the many contributions and lifestyle of Ogata Sadako, a student in the first class at the University of the Sacred Heart and the first Japanese person to serve as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, as well as her education at Sacred Heart and her time as the university's first president, Mother Britt.
The exhibition, which makes extensive use of manga and illustrations, our specialty, was well received and run for a long period, from May 2021 to October 2023.
Many people visited the exhibition, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
